KEPEMIMPINAN DAN MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN DI ABAD 21

The rapid development of science and technology, along with globalization, has brought significant changes to the field of education. Educational institutions in the modern era are not only required to produce graduates who excel academically, but also those who are adaptive, creative, and globally competitive. This condition places educational leadership and management as key factors in determining the quality and success of educational institutions. This article aims to examine the concepts of educational leadership and management in the modern era and their roles in improving educational quality. The method used is a literature review by analyzing various relevant scientific journal articles and books. The findings indicate that visionary and transformational leadership, supported by professional, adaptive, and technology-based educational management, is capable of creating effective and sustainable educational institutions. Therefore, synergy between educational leadership and management needs to be continuously strengthened in addressing the challenges of education in the modern era.
