Abstract

The concept of a civilized and prosperous society in Islam is rooted in the values of tawhid (monotheism), justice, and universal humanity. Islam emphasizes not only ritual worship but also the establishment of a just, peaceful, and productive social order. This article aims to elaborate on Islamic principles in realizing a civilized (madani) and prosperous (falāh) society based on the Qur’an and Sunnah. Using a descriptive-qualitative approach through literature review, this study finds that the key pillars of a civilized society include: (1) tawhid as the moral foundation, (2) social justice as a value system, (3) knowledge as a driver of progress, and (4) social solidarity as an expression of compassion. Islam advocates balance between spiritual and material dimensions, individual and collective welfare, worldly life and the hereafter. Thus, a civilized and prosperous society is not only a social goal but a manifestation of faith translated into righteous deeds and harmonious social order.
