Abstract

Islamic broadcasting communication is a strategic instrument for conveying da‘wah messages to the wider public through various media. The development of information and communication technology has transformed the patterns, media, and approaches of Islamic da‘wah from conventional forms to more digital, interactive, and contextual models. This article aims to examine Islamic broadcasting communication from the perspectives of da‘wah, media, and culture, emphasizing how Islamic messages are produced, disseminated, and received within a pluralistic social space. The method employed is a literature review using a descriptive-analytical approach to studies on da‘wah, communication, and media. The findings indicate that Islamic broadcasting communication functions not only as a means of transmitting religious teachings but also as a medium for constructing meaning, cultural identity, and social transformation. Therefore, Islamic broadcasting communication is required to be adaptive to media developments, sensitive to cultural contexts, and grounded in a humanistic and moderate da‘wah ethic.
